What does "Plan A" mean for Parents/Student(s)?

• All preschool is cancelled.
• The school bus will pick your child up two hours later than usual in the morning.

What does "Plan A" mean for staff?

• Staff will report to work two hours later than normal (unless directed differently by your supervisor).
• All school bus services will run two hours late, serving only regular routes.
• All staff are to report to work.

• School bus services will run afternoon routes two hours early.
• Extracurricular evening activities will be cancelled.
• After school meal services will be cancelled.

What does "Plan B" mean for Parents/Student(s)?

• Students will be released from school two hours earlier than usual.
• Your child’s school bus will drop them off two hours earlier than usual.

What does "Plan B" mean for staff?

Staff will adjust work schedule accordingly to the opening and closing of school.

• All schools will be closed.
• District Offices will remain open.
• Extracurricular activities will be decided by noon.

What does "Plan C" mean for Parents/Student(s)?

No students report to school.

What does "Plan C" mean for staff?

• Central Office and North Central Office staff report to work
• Principals will report to work.
• All 261 staff will report to work.

• All school campuses, District operations, and KCK Public Library branches are closed.
• School bus services, after school meal services, and all child care services cancelled.

What does "Plan D" mean for Parents/Student(s)?

• No students report to school.
• Remote Learning may go into effect if snow days are expired.

What does "Plan D" mean for staff?

• District Administrators will work remotely.
• Principals will work remotely.
• Certified and classified staff do not report to work.
• All maintenance crews and custodial staff deemed essential to recovery efforts will be contacted by their respective supervisors.
