Description:  8^th Grade Visual Arts is a hands-on, project-based course that focuses on the continuation of visual arts at the middle school level; however, students do not need to complete 7^th grade art to enroll.  Students will build off their skill sets in two- and three-dimensional mediums with a focus on building the skills necessary for the visual arts classes at the high school level.  There will be a focus on the 8^th grade visual art standards and an emphasis on the elements and principles of design.  This class cannot be repeated.
