Description:  This is a specialized course for students that want to learn to perform music in a Mariachi ensemble with a characteristic sound and style.  This course is open to students that are advanced on violin, trumpet, singing, guitar, vihuela, or guitarron.  Students will learn about the history and culture involved in Mariachi music, and apply it to their performance.  Attendance at evening events is encouraged.  This course may be taken for credit in multiple years.
