Welcome

I am so humbled and excited to be the principal at DD Eisenhower Middle School! With this opportunity, I aim to work with scholars, staff, families, and other external stakeholders to create a Community-Centered environment. It takes a village to do this work well, and it will take EVERY Eagle to bring to life the shared vision!

Prior to my administrative journey in KCK, I was an administrator in the Blue Valley School District for five years at the high school, middle school and elementary level. As a classroom teacher I taught sixth grade language arts for six years in the Olathe Public Schools District.

MidAmerica Nazarene University is what brought me to Kansas City where I received my Bachelors Degree in elementary education. I received my Masters Degree from Emporia State and am currently working on my Doctorates through the University of Kansas with a potential graduation date of spring 2024!

I'm originally from the Southeast, Georgia and Tennessee, Go Dogs! I value integrity, balance, challenge, and relationships. My hope is that you see these through how I serve.

Family is everything. My wife, Cary, is a Spanish teacher and we love raising our two daughters, Avery and Demi.

I look forward to serving in this role and thank you for the opportunity to lead at Eisenhower.
