Benefits & Wellness

The Kansas City Kansas Public School District offers benefits to all certified and full-time-classified employees hired to work 30 hours or more per week. Benefit elections are effective throughout the calendar year, January through December. Employees have two opportunities to make elections: During the new hire process; and Open Enrollment in November. Open enrollment is passive which means your current elections remain in place for the next calendar year except; enrollment in an HSA or FSA. You must re-elect your contributions annually to keep your accounts active.

Visit the benefits portal to view detailed information about the benefits offered by the school district. You can also view carrier contact information, view plan summaries, get instructions for filing claims and view the benefits guide.
