The Kansas City Kansas Public School District offers benefit to all certified and full-time-classified employees working 30 hours or more per week the option to make benefit elections. Benefit elections are effective throughout the calendar year, January through December. There are 2 opportunities to make elections: During the new hire process and at Open Enrollment in October. To continue benefit elections for the next calendar year, all benefit eligible employees must enroll during the Open Enrollment Season no matter when hired throughout the calendar year.  The video below will give a brief overview of the plans offered by school district.
