About Unity in the Community

Unity in the Community (UiC) is a family-centered event that brings together families, schools, and community partners to support student success and family well-being. Our goal is to empower families, strengthen school–community partnerships, and create safe and welcoming learning environments for all.

New This Year: Parent Summit

We’re excited to introduce the Parent Summit, a new addition to Unity in the Community 2026. The Parent Summit will include concurrent breakout sessions for parents and caregivers, focused on:

  • Increasing parent knowledge

  • Sharing practical tools to support students and families

  • Elevating authentic parent voice

Families can choose sessions that best meet their interests and needs.
