KidZone: Before and After School Care
KCKPS KidZone Before & After School Program
KCKPS is proud to offer KIdZone, our before and after school care program designed to provide students with a safe, engaging, and enriching environment outside of the regular school day.
KidZone offers homework assistance, social development opportunities, STEM activities, recreational programming, and a variety of enrichment experiences led by KCKPS staff.

Enrollment
Enrollment opens during the first week of August. Families may register by completing the KidZone application through their student's Infinite Campus account. Paper applications will also be available at all KidZone sites the first week of August.
Once the application is submitted, your child is enrolled. There is no approval process. To ensure transportation services (if needed) are in place for the first day of KidZone, please complete all required sections of the application by the first week of school.
We are excited to be the before and after-school care program for your student. Our goal is to provide childcare service, academic enrichment, tutoring, and youth development to all elementary students in USD500 Schools.
Program Hours
Morning Program (AM): 7:00 am - 9:00 am
Afternoon Program: 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Wednesday (Early Release): 1:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Students enrolled in the KidZone program at a school that is not their home school will be transported to and from their home school to KidZone each morning before breakfast at their home school and will be returned to that site In the afternoon. Parent drop off and pick up is at the respective KidZone site. Parents are responsible for letting their student's home school know their students' after school plan to ensure they get on the KidZone bus.
The fee schedule for KidZone is listed below. Limited KidZone Scholarships may be available based on enrollment numbers at each respective site. (Daily rates do not apply)
KidZone fees for the 2026-2027 school year are as follows:

Eligibility
KidZone is available to KCKPS elementary school students.
Please note that preschool students are not eligible to participate in the program.
