The Leadership and Learning Department ensures every student in Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

By aligning our instructional framework with state standards, we help students build the 21st-century skills of communication, critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration — preparing every graduate to earn a Diploma+. The department oversees curriculum, professional development, student services, and school leadership across all KCKPS schools.
