Instructions & Consents
The mySAEBRS assessment looks at three important areas of student behavior: social, academic, and emotional.
- Social behavior focuses on how students interact with peers and adults, including skills like making friends and managing behavior.
- Academic behavior looks at how students stay focused, prepared, and engaged in learning.
- Emotional behavior examines how students handle feelings, adapt to change, and respond to challenges.
Together, these areas help us understand how students are doing and how we can best support their success. For further information about mySAEBRS, read here: What is mySAEBRS?
Kansas law requires parental consent on file each screening period before administering mySAEBRS.
- Your school will provide you a copy of the consent form or you may download it here:
- You must complete the form in order for your child to participate.
- Translations are available to assist with completion of the mySAEBRS consent form.
