Job Title Qualifications
Nurse RN in the state of Kansas
Math Teachers KSDE License in Math, 6th – 12th grades, or Alternative License
Science Teachers KSDE License in Science, 6th – 12th grades, or Alternative License
Spanish Teachers KSDE License in Spanish or World Languages, K- 12th grades, or Alternative License
Special Education KSDE License in Special Education (all content areas), K- 12th grades, or Alternative License by qualifying for Special Education Waiver”
Paraprofessional If you don’t have 48 college credits, OR Associates degree or higher, but you have a High School degree, you may still qualify by taking the following assessments: Work Keys, ParaPro, or Para Educator. If you do not have a State approved assessment, KCKPS will offer one credential assessment test to candidates who do not meet the minimum 48 college credit requirement if you are recommended for hire.
ESL Aides If you don’t have 48 college credits, OR Associates degree or higher, but you have a High School degree, you may still qualify by taking the following assessments: Work Keys, ParaPro, or Para Educator. If you do not have a State approved assessment, KCKPS will offer one credential assessment test to candidates who do not meet the minimum 48 college credit requirement if you are recommended for hire.

Elementary/Early Childhood Teacher KSDE License Elementary Education K-6 OR PreK-3
Secondary Teacher KSDE License 6-12 in content area your hired to teach
Substitute Teacher Ask us about the new: Temporary Emergency Authorized License
Bus Drivers High School Diploma GED or Equivalent. Pass Testing: school bus driving test, first aide, CPR, and Defensive Driving
Food Service Assistant High School Diploma GED or Equivalent
