Returning Family Registration Verification

Before the beginning of each school year, parents and guardians are required to verify each student's registration to ensure that the information is still correct.

How to verify your registration at Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools if you are a returning student or family

  1. Log into the Infinite Campus Parent Portal
    • If you have forgotten your login information, reach out to your child's school. They will be able to reset your account.
  2. Choose "Online Registration"
  3. Select the correct registration type and push "Start"
    1. "Existing Student Registration"" is for any family that has students that attended a KCKPS school last year. Choose this even if you have an additional student to register that did not attend a KCKPS school last year (such as a new kindergartner).
    2. "New Student Registration" is for any family has had students attend a KCKPS school previously, but are not expected to attend this year (such as senior who graduated) AND you want to register a child that has not attended a KCKPS school (such as a new kindergartner).
    3. Type your first and last name to begin the registration.
    4. Confirm or update your Primary Household Information.
    5. Confirm or update the information for all parents and guardians.
    6. Add or update information for Emergency Contacts.
    7. Confirm or Update information for each student. This includes contact information, plus medical and medication information, and agreements.
    8. Add any additional students you would like to register.
    9. Sign and Submit.

You have three options for receiving additional assistance:

  • Go to your child's school
  • Visit the Welcome Center
    • Located at the KCKPS Central Office and Training Center (59th and Parallel), The Welcome Center is open from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. , Monday-Friday. Walk-In visits are welcome, and appointments can be made by calling the KCKPS Front Desk at 913-551-3200 and requesting Student Services.
  • Attend one of our District-wide Registration Events
