The New Argentine Middle School Moves One Step Closer to Becoming Reality

The future is looking bright for students, families, and staff of Argentine Middle School.
On Friday, October 30, KCKPS celebrated the groundbreaking of the new middle school.
The audience heard remarks from the designers and builiders of the project as well as School Board Vice President Wanda Paige and KCKPS Superintendent Dr. Anna Stubblefield.
The new school will be located at the campus of the future Woodland Hills Elementary School and J.C. Harmon High School, on Steele Rd.
In November of 2024, KCK voters overwhelmingly approved a $180 million bond issue to help build several new schools, including Argentine Middle School.
The new school will be a state-of-the-art facility spanning approximately 125,000 square feet and designed to serve approximately 900–950 students.
