Watch: Argentine Middle School Groundbreaking Ceremony

KCKPS celebrated the building of the new Argentine Middle School with a special groundbreaking ceremony.

On Friday, October 30, 2026, city leaders, district leadership, and Central Middle School students participated in the festivities.

The event had a festive atmosphere built around the excitement of having a new state-of-the-art school coming soon. 

The new school will span approximately 125,000 square feet and designed to serve approximately 900–950 students. 

The school will provide modern learning environments that support student success, hands-on learning, and career exploration.

The new Argentine Middle School will feature:

• Technology-enhanced classrooms and modern learning spaces designed to support hands-on, engaging educational experiences.
• State-of-the-art career and technical education (CTE) facilities equipped with industry-relevant resources to help prepare students for future career opportunities.
• Enhanced campus security with advanced monitoring systems and safety protocols to support a safe learning environment.

The groundbreaking marks an exciting milestone for the Argentine community and a commitment to creating modern learning spaces that support the next generation of learners.
