Wyandotte High School Students Showcase Their Talents at Annual Conference

Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools was well represented at the Annual KASB Showcase in Wichita, Kansas.
Students from Wyandotte High School’s Architecture, Construction, and Engineering (ACE) Academy participated in the showcase held at the Century II Expo Center on Friday, November 15.

Yazmin Campos Herrera, Emanuel Renteria, and Alexa Suriano, supported by their teacher Allyson Smith, showcased their projects completed as part of the ACE pathway.
"I truly enjoy seeing our students shine as they engage with others about their work and passion. With the skills that our students are learning, they are truly preparing themselves for a bright future," said Dr. Angela Wright, the Director of Diploma+ & College Careers Program.
School board members from districts across Kansas, including KCKPS, were there to show their support for the students.

The Kansas Association of School Boards Showcase helps kick off the KASB Convention each year by spotlighting student success, student programs, and championing student innovations.
The showcase helps promote some of the various client-connected projects students worked on and connect with other talented high school students across the state.
