Emerson Elementary's Antoinette Rocha Awarded DM Law Teacher of the Week

Congratulations to Emerson Elementary School third-grade teacher Antoinette Rocha, who was named the DM Law Teacher of the Week.

On Monday, September 21, representatives from the Kansas City-based law firm surprised Rocha at school with the honor.

“I was really surprised. I had no idea I was chosen. This means I get to spoil my class with $250, and I’m honored that my colleagues thought of me,” Rocha said.

DM Law’s Teacher of the Week program allows community members and peers to nominate exceptional educators for their impact on students’ lives.

As part of the recognition, Rocha received a $250 Visa gift card, a DM Injury Law prize pack, and special recognition on DM Injury Law’s social media platforms.

Additionally, her photo will be displayed on a digital billboard in the greater Kansas City area.
