Stay Connected to Your Child

Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools uses Infinite Campus as our Student Information System.

Through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal, families can:

  • Register for School – Complete yearly documents and registration for all your students in one portal
  • Update contact information – Update your address, phone number, household information and emergency contacts without having to contact the school.
  • Schedules – View class schedules and teachers
  • Grades and Assignments – View in-progress grades, missing and late assignments, grade cards, and transcripts.
  • Attendance – Review when your student missed school or was late to class.
  • Calendar – Check the calendar for a monthly view of assignments and attendance events (missed school or late to class) for all your students in the district.
  • Set Communication Preferences – Let us know if you prefer to be contacted by phone, email, or text and in what language

Forgot Your Login?

If you don’t know the username and/or password, there are buttons on the login page to reset them. If they do not work you will need to contact your students’ school to help reset your password. If you don’t have a parent portal, call one of your student’s schools and ask for the activation code so you can set one up. 

New Users

New Portal Activation Code Process: On the website page where you are asked to enter the username and password, there is an option to click new user at the bottom. Then enter the activation code and create a username and password. 

Use the Infinite Campus App

Families can also access Infinite Campus on the go using the Campus Parent mobile app. Download the app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, then search for Kansas City as the district when prompted. Once logged in, you can quickly check grades, attendance, and other important student information right from your phone.

  • The parent and student portal can be accessed here.

  • Yes, you will need Internet access to log-on to the parent portal.

  • Please contact your school to set up an appointment to come to the school and use a computer there to access your Infinite Campus Parent Portal. If you are unable to reach anyone at the school because they are out for the summer, please contact Student Services IC Support at 913-627-4150.

  • Your student’s school will provide you with a GUID code that is used to set up a new account. They can also provide you with your user name or reset your password if you have forgotten it.

  • Contact information can be updated through the parent portal; please click here for detailed directions.

  • Please update your contact information through the parent portal or contact your child’s school. If you have  more than one student, you can contact any school and the information will update for all your students.
