J.C. Harmon Teaching as a Career Students Welcome Teachers Back to School

Tiffany Smith’s students in the Teaching as a Career Pathway at J.C. Harmon High School are starting the school year by putting their passion for education into action. They kicked off the year by welcoming teachers back to school, demonstrating their appreciation for the educators who inspire them every day.
Now, these aspiring educators are taking their learning beyond the classroom as they begin internships in elementary schools. Through these hands-on experiences, students are gaining valuable insight into the teaching profession, developing leadership and communication skills, and experiencing firsthand the impact educators have on young learners.
From welcoming teachers to working alongside them, these future educators are already making a difference. Their journey is a great example of how Career and Technical Education (CTE) and real-world learning prepare students for meaningful careers and opportunities beyond graduation.
